The eleventh in the series of Building Healthy Places Interest Forums was held in conjunction with the 2020 ULI Virtual Fall Meeting.
The Randall Lewis/ULI Building Healthy Places Virtual Forum brings together leaders in health, wellness, and real estate for conversations on the intersection of health and the built environment. Forums are typically a content-heavy, interactive, and dynamic exchange of ideas focused on the host community in which they are held.
The ULI Randall Lewis/Building Healthy Places Virtual Forum took place on October 7, 2020 and was open to ULI Full and Associate members.
Part 1: The Past – A conversation with Richard Rothstein, Author of The Color of Law
Mr. Rothstein outlines the forgotten history of policies and techniques that have contributed to the U.S. housing crisis and systemic racism. ULI Governor Randall Lewis welcomes attendees.
Part 2: The Present – Virtual Tour of 1180 Fourth Street
Project designers lead a tour a 150-unit development in San Francisco’s Mission Bay South neighborhood designed for low-income and formerly homeless families.
