AMERICAS YOUNG LEADERS GROUP STEERING COMMITTEE CHAIR
The Young Leaders Group (YLG) network creates opportunities for young professionals under the age of 35 to develop skills and build relationships that will help advance their careers and foster an understanding of thoughtful development practices.
Following the framework set by the Americas YLG/NEXT Strategic Plan, the aim for the Americas YLG Steering Committee will be to integrate the YLG networks and programming with each other at the Americas levels, and to connect YLG members with the other ULI Networks and Centers across the organization to create more open, transparent, and connected systems.
Young Leaders are the key to the future of real estate and land use. Now more than ever, it is critical for future leaders to have access to the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in their careers and professional networks.
The mission of the Americas Young Leaders Group is to strengthen relationships and participation with the organization, provide opportunities for professional education and mentorship, offer networking within the local membership base, and encourage relationship building with senior members.
Additionally, the Americas YLG Steering Committee is tasked with improving leadership opportunities, facilitating the overall growth and diversity of ULI membership in this age cohort through improved retention rates and conversions from associate to full membership and broader ULI participation.

Supporting the ULI Young Leaders Group (YLG) Americas through annual giving is one of the most powerful ways you can make an impact. Unrestricted contributions to the ULI Annual Fund ensure that YLG has the resources to acknowledge opportunities and address unforeseen challenges with the expediency that would otherwise not be possible.
Donors can choose to designate their contribution specifically to the YLG program, ensuring that their gift is personally meaningful, or make an unrestricted donation with the assurance that it will be applied to meet ULI’s greatest needs.
ULI is expanding the governance structure for the YLG network offering an opportunity to be part of our Steering Committee and/or to chair content sub-committees to help further this goal. If you want to be involved, please fill out the application form. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
