ULI’s Urban Resilience program is currently conducting research on drought resilient real estate and land use, in partnership with ULI Colorado and other District Councils in drought-impacted regions. The initiative aims to address the growing gap between water demand and supply, especially as climate change increases aridity in some regions, so that communities can thrive long into the future. The final report, to be published in Fall 2021, will include best practices and examples of water smart development, landscaping, land use policy, and community resilience from across the United States.
